ABOUT US

Ark Preschool was founded in 2005 with the philosophy of providing a high-quality early childhood education program. Since the day it was established, our school has progressed with a developmental approach and today continues to serve with a strong team of professional educators and a contemporary understanding of education.

We offer full-day and half-day enrollment options and provide education throughout the entire year. We have dedicated classrooms for the 2+, 3+, and 4+ age groups. In the 2025–2026 academic year (September–June term), our classes for children born in 2023, 2022, and 2021 will each be led by one Turkish and one foreign teacher. Our curriculum is English-based and supports children’s development within a multicultural learning environment from an early age.

Our educational program is built on a unique curriculum inspired by various pedagogical models. Our approach is child-centered; cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development is supported through exploration and play. To keep children’s curiosity and motivation alive, we employ teaching methods that spark their sense of discovery and accomplishment. In this way, we provide a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, science, and social studies, while also offering instruction in art, music, drama, dance, and gymnastics with our specialist teachers. Additionally, museum and exhibition visits help extend learning beyond the classroom.

Ark Preschool is located in Kemerburgaz on a spacious 4-acre garden. Surrounded by nature, this environment offers children a safe yet exploration-filled learning space.

Our multicultural structure enables children to recognize differences at an early age, discover their own talents, and build self-confidence. Our aim is to strengthen each child’s self-esteem and prepare them to become individuals who contribute positively to society in the future.

OUR AGE GROUPS

2+ Age Groups

In our classrooms designed for children aged 2 and above, we offer a balanced day built around creativity and play-based learning. Our safe and nurturing environment supports children’s independence, language development, empathy, and social skills. With vibrant colors, age-appropriate materials, art and music activities, and rich learning experiences, we aim to provide the highest level of support for their development.

3+ Age Groups

During this stage, children learn by exploring with curiosity and through hands-on experiences. Our 3+ classrooms support social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and character development simultaneously. Enriched with language development, drama, art, science, mathematics, music, sports, and motor skills, our program—with patience, guidance, and positive reinforcement—prepares children for the 4+ level.

4+ Age Groups

In this age group, children learn and have fun through music, art, physical education, drama, science, outdoor play, and creative activities. Through field trips and project-based experiences, they explore their surroundings while strengthening independence, motor skills, language development, and social-emotional growth. Play also plays a key role in building both self-care skills and self-confidence.

SECOND LANGUAGE AWARENESS

At Ark Preschool, our aim is to help students graduate having surpassed their own limits. Learning a second language is an essential part of achieving this goal. Guided by the latest research highlighting the social and cognitive benefits of second language acquisition, we have designed a curriculum focused on global awareness and on enabling students to use the foreign language they learn confidently in both daily life and academic settings.

Beyond the social and personal advantages of speaking more than one language, today’s studies also show that acquiring a second language significantly enhances individuals’ brain functions and cognitive abilities. Our carefully crafted English-based curriculum turns language learning into an engaging and meaningful opportunity.
